Stavros Melissinos has touched the feet of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Sophia Loren, Jackie Kennedy, Rudolph Nureyev, Margot Fontaine and Ursula Andress.
Visit his little store on the Piazza Monastiraki and photograph his statue after having bought a pair of sandals and listened to a few verses! Melissinos is the symbol of a country undergoing a cultural renaissance.
Greece is presented at the Brera in Night event on Friday 18th around the Via Ciovasso and the Via della Bindellina.
